are u sure that fish is part of the show ? lol it looks out of place..everything else is cartoony but that fish ...its alsmot photo realistic. nice work on the texturing cant wait to see the animation wips ...

Hey Thrischan, welcome to the forums.

I have some critiquing for you:


1. (La Papaya) This is my favourite of the bunch. What I Would suggest. Dramatically increase the amount of seeds on the inside. Make the texture of the eyelids match more closely the texture of the inside of the papaya. Maybe, considering the angry eyes, give it sharp teeth made out of the seeds.

2. (El Mango) Personally, I would round off the lips a bit more, and fix up the corner of the mouth. It seems a tad sharp. Also, a green mango? nobody likes green mangoes!!! Come on, if you got an aging banana you could at least have an aging mango.

3. (EL Pl?tano) There seems to be some weirdo texture stretching on this beautiful banana.

4. (El Pescado) Agree with Franky on this one. Doesn't really suit the theme of tropical fruit. Is it going to be a Cameo? Once again, would suggest some teeth, and fix up the eyeball as it seems distorty. Every other character has cartoon lips + eyes. That is the main reason this one sticks out. Needs some reflections on the scales, no?

5. (La Pi?a) This one is cool. Only main thing I can suggest is to give the leaves texture. Personally with this one, I would have just had two eyes, and had the whole bottom half come apart on a hinge for the mouth... sort of like IKE from south park.

6. (El Jocote) This dude needs lips!


(The other two seem fine)

7. (EVERYTHING) Ok, as a major thing on most models the texture is too dark. Needs lightening up. The eyes + lips just do not suit them, colour wise. Try to blend them even more into the model with both position and texture. The white eyes, and vibrant irises just make them look out of place, and the red lips always seem to be off of the model.

el platano looks like rotten to me, maybe less blemishes and more yellow.

ps: how do you do the mnouths for the characters? i'm starting to work on a simple character kind of like one of these and like how did u get it inside like that? just extrude in?
