Thanks man, Yeah I was trying to get the anatomy near human but now all the way... btw I think obliques are ugly haha. Probably the reason 1: I dont usually model hugely muscular guys, and 2: I didnt include it in this guy.
Anyways, the backstory: He's a temple guardian guarding an ancient relic which is located in a temple's tomb, hes the guy at the door. The temple is on a desert planet with lots of sand and an egyption style throughout it. I'm kindof going off of the idea from stargate, where there are half human half creature guards, but I wanted this to be more creature like and get away from the costume aspect of it. He's a warrior and he has two blades, and a suit of amour. Possibly even some tattoos symbolizing the protected relic and gods. I might also want to impliment a "futuristic primitive" type architecture to the buildings and the character. This means he might have high tech gear, but its all going to be in a low tech or primitive background and not have too much high tech stuff, but also to mix with the more primitive stuff, like cloth and such.
