And thank you Mr Tysons for your great Sony_style animation That inspires me a lot...
ok i know you are waiting for my question blablabla
if you could Mr tysons give me some Lighting and render setting tips that you used in the rendering of
Sony_style animation coze am trying to make a TV in 3D in Vray also, it might becoming a commercial.
but the frame took about 45 minutes to one houre to render and thats too much dont you think?
am a freelance with just one PC>>>>>>>>
so pleaaaaaaaase take me in your considerations

As you notice there are some blotches i dont know why so i attached the material settings of both the floor and the
TV it might be the cause of the errors or the bad render ...

great model though, and its gonna look superb once you nail those few little rendering blotches! -

You're definitely heading in the right track man! Make sure you use VRay shadows instead of default shadows though.
Also...the rendering time is going to be high...that's because of the glossy reflections, which are necessary for that nice smooth glossy look on everything

but what about those blotches what can i do to get rid of them.
also did you use HDRI in your Render as you notice these renders are without HDRI what about the render time, is it logic;
how come the frame took in Sony style
in other hand did you use Mode in Vray rendering parameters
and finally i don't feel good
with the TV material because as you notice in the second picture at the right those glowing edges so what to do to enhance
the material
please if you don't mind i want the answers as soon as possible

I am a newbie to vray render passes. I am using 1.5 RC3. There is no 'G-Buffer' option? Only Frame Buffer.
How can I render out separate reflection, specular and diffuse passes?

raytracer 45 posts07 Sep 2007I suggest you try lightcache set to 600-800. Then use adaptive qmc rather than adaptive subdiv. material looks right. Dont see anything that would slow it down. .9 reflection is not that slow. If you go below .7 then that's where you see major slowdown.
