01 Jul 2005Well - I finally got my act together and decided the life of an unemployed bum is not for me... good fun, but no long term prospects hehe
I put this reel together yesterday and applied for a job today (will keep you posted on that one) The reel was a little rushed I guess and I will tweak / add (credits for the Lowmax rig and music etc)/ change a few things soon before I push it out, but it was a case of striking while the iron was hot.
Most of you will be familiar with the animations within - mainly all work I've done in the last few months though there are a couple new unseen bits so check it out
Right click and "save target as"
It's 15Mb in WMV so should be good for those with MediaPlayer 9 and up. Comments and suggestions are welcome. -
01 Jul 2005Wow, that's fantastic mate. It's good to see all those animations put together into one reel. It shows that you have a consistant theme throughout your work, although I would love to see more animation of the dude at the end.. The friendly piglet one, not enough of him there.
The sound was cool too, got me jigging but I dont think it mixed well with the thunder and slow mo sounds of the test you made with Tyson's script.
Good luck with the job application but if you get it, don't let it take your inspiration away from your own work. It's very easy to happen. but Don't let it happen to you!!!!!!!!! -

01 Jul 2005holy bananas batman! i've always been a sucker for character animation but man those rock. i really need to start making some characters withrigs and stuff and actually animating for once. its hella impressive.
