Hi everyone!
I'm currently in the final stages of finishing my 15 sec. animation for school and I was wondering if I could get some feedback on the animation and the lighting.
Objectives of the Assignment:
1. Show weight
2. Character has to walk in, sit, get up and take a few steps
3. Character has to show a change of emotion.
4. Animation can be no longer or shorter than 15 seconds.
Right now, I'm having a hard time getting the timing to feel right. It feels floaty to me, and I'm not sure how to fix that or if its just me seeing this.
I am also having a hard time with the arms. If you have any suggestions for making them better, the gestures better/more believable, let me know!
Here are some examples of the kind of winter light I was trying to get. I'm not sure if I accomplished this, let me know if you have any advice.
I'm just starting to learn how to use Renderman for Maya and a bit of raytracing, but I have not applied any of that in the animation you see now.
So yeah, any advice you have on the animation and or/how I could make the lighting better would be great.
Thank you so much!
Quicktime: 39.36 mb. If it takes to long to load, maybe try save target as.
