I recently put together a demo reel of work that I've done. It's not a demo reel that would be sent out for employment or anything... just something for my friends and family.... that's why there's such a random mix in there. I couldn't have made this reel without the help I received from everyone here on this forum.... so THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you like what I've made.
You can grab it here.... please tell me what you think of it!
There are only two things I would have liked to have changed about my reel--
1) The audio in the composite isn't very good (I used the mic on the camera)
2) I used GI joe (in maya) for the lighting in the gap jump and there are some big shadow artifacts. Does anyone know what I can do to get rid of those?
The opening shot was definitely my favorite. You pulled a really nice key.
How did you ever get the light drawing of Demo Reel? I'm lucky if I can get 1-2 shapes let alone 2 words with a break in the middle.

Thanks for the comments guys... they're much appreciated!
@eschulist
I cheated on the photo that says Demo reel. My camera only has a time delay of 15 sec, so I could only write Demo and Reel in two separate photos. I combined them in Photoshop..... heh.
Yeah I thought the same at first, about the freaky fire things. They're great but not suitable for a true demo real... but then I re-read your post, so all is well
I liked it! Nicely put together - and great start to a demo reel!
