well i started modeling my home theater system here at home and then saw this vray render which looked to have the same system and i just decided to try and get it to look like the vray render because im uncreative like that... Its done in c4d -

10 Nov 2005Hmm some things i have to pick at isnt the quaity of the render or the modeling its all awsome, just the positioning of the objects.
Wouldnt the two speakers either side be behind a sofa or somthing away from the TV, because having them near the front kinda defeats the object of surround sound, becuase it would all be in front of you. (if i said that right)
Is you TV really that small on an oversized TV stand?, why not just make the tv a tiny bit bigger in the render and make it fit right unless your going for a photorealistic representation of your living room. Why not render the whole room and put the speakers in the right areas
would look kool.
The render is really sweet, its nice and crisp. I also love the modeling all the edges are perfect you really get the feel that its the real thing, superb work.
And finally what all the others has asked, is it your render? Because the explanation isnt that clear -

You've done a good job at creating a nice warm atmosphere.
My only problem with it is that there seems to be some aliasing on the floor. -

Adam Chase 72 posts11 Nov 2005thanks guys and yes i did create the image. About the speaker placemenet i ust wanted to have a close up shot with all the speakers in tehre i know its not what you would actually do in real life
