This is the continuation from my factory thread .
I finally found some time to animate the arms and render!

09 Sep 2007The take in the beginning is awesome lol when he throws the chair back. Nice work on that.
When he runs up and tries to kick the box he is waaay off balance when his leg goes back in the wind up.
I love when he hits the table, very well done. -
Escelce 37 posts09 Sep 2007Couldn't agree more that the take when it lands and the ending is just excellent. The thing i noticed is just after the box lands, i think he needs to pause and look at it as if either puzzled, confused or angry about this. He seems to jump up (which is great) and then in one motion walks over to it. It's a great animation overall but i just think he needs more of a reaction before heading over. The table part cracked me up though. So funny.

09 Sep 2007Agree with the other postees. There's some great comedy here, but I think the time from the 'take' to the motion towards the box is a little rushed. The table part cracked me up too
Nice to see 14 seconds of anim compressed down to less than 700K and still looking good. What did you use? -
10 Sep 2007Thanks for the critique guys! I couldn't agree more, now after watching it a few times.
And global, I used the Export-->Quicktime option in AE to compress it as opposed to make movie. It uses the .h264 codec at around high quality and takes a bit longer to render, but it's perfect for web. -
10 Sep 2007i dont think thewre's enough puase after he jumps out of his chair. also he seems to walk over to the box and start to push it really quite quickly. work on the pacing a bit. everything else looks great though, especially the end.
