Hey all,
I just finished modelling my first character head that I felt was at a finished state. It's based on a concept from Mark Behm. I didn't really get an exact likeness, but thought the model turned out well anyway. Maybe I should just say inspired by Mark Behm's concept? hehehe...
Modelled in XSI, minor compositing in AE (with help from hype... thanks!).

19 Oct 2007it looks good man, your poly flow looks pretty good too, but I see one little problem above the eye right on his temple, that area looks like you could refine it a bit, since there's kind of a pinch there. Other than that, good work so far man.

I'm probably going to try to make some other models. I like this character a lot, but the concept doesn't include a whole shot of the character. It's ok though... I am looking forward to modelling more stuff!

Thanks a lot! Good point about the temple... I had some trouble there... I think I just need to smooth out the polys a bit.

Here's a model that I just finished. I wanted to try making some expressions for this guy... I also experimented with the texturing (the spots on the back). The spots are just bump maps, but I think they add a lot to the character!
Anyhow, hope you like this little guy... I tried to give him a funny personality
