Hey man you got some really really amazing stuff going on!!!
one suggestion please compress that file that was huge then i would love it more i almost didn't want to watch it cause of how long it took me to download it.
other than that i would say you are well on your way man!!!

that was some cool stuff man. i dont know much about compositing but i dodnt know you did that meteor crash through compositing, i thought it was all 3d. the reel feels really good in terms of cuts and matching music to visuals.
my teachers tell me there's 3 kinds of demo reels.
ones that are bad
ones that show great technical skill
and ones that exert an emotion of some kind, along with being technically skilled.
i think yours would fall into that third category which is where you really want to be in order to have your reel stand out from others.
but yeah, keep working on some stuff, i didnt see anything there overly complex aside from the meteor. i've seen a few compositing demoreels and i've been blown away by the amount of layers they use. i guess my advice is to try and make a big elaborate scene from a bunch of ordinary shots or something. i'll stop talking now, hopefully my rambling has helped somewhat.
