This came out great bud, nice work. The only things I see are the overall ambient light seems to be a little darker in your piece, and if you look at the painting there is a lot of noise in and around the blue light coming from the window. Yours seems a lot softer and blown out a little in the window itself. Almost like it's a florescent glow instead of sunlight coming through. If you look through his window you can just barely see the silhouette of a tree (or something). Really neat though man, very inspiring.

Dude this is awesome!
Couple of crits would be that the perspecive seems just a liiiitle off from the original. The window frame and far wall is a bit more / \ on the original.
The wooden planks need a little more roughness to them. And the whole image could use som graininess and texture.
Awesome

Holy smokes Richy, this looks nice man, you brought it all the way! My only crit at this point would be to lighten up your blacks a stop or two, and thicken the atmosphere just a touch. Also, you could use a bit heavier rim lighting along the light fixture, and sharpen up the image a bit overall as it looks a little muddy compared to the reference. Other than that, wow, very nice! Great work, and I'm curious as to how much of it is Photoshop, and how much is straight 3d render. Great work man.

Hey that's awesome Richard.

I have an idea if you like it. making some particles in the air so they look like dust particles would make it more impressive.

This really looks excellent. To be honest, I couldn't tell which was the original if you hadn't marked it.

What did you use to render it? Vray? It's simply amazing, very good job! I have a project at the moment to something similar, this is very inspirational

. My one crit would be, as has been mentioned, the lighting is tiny bit off, but then it would probably look like that in the real world anyway, so for me its a moot point.
