Hey all,
Happy new year (slightly belated)!
New year, new venture. For various reasons my film production company is having to fold. 'tis a shame but it can't be helped. Anyway I thought I'd collate all my best vfx and motion graphics work together into a reel and revamp my old website. Since it was first posted on Monday I've been offered one piece of animation work (two weeks at a great rate!), and two other inquiries. Not bad!
Thought I'd post it for you guys as I really value your opinions. There's a selection here from Impact Day (which you might have already seen some of), Spider Mouse, a bunch of personal projects and some of the corporate graphics I did for clients of big and clever films. All 3D was done in Maya, and all 2D work in After Effects; textures in Photoshop.

hey this is a great reel you have here!
i was impressed by all the work on there, espeialy, that clip where you removed that kid with the boat. well done!
i was also pleased to see the finished transformer animation with the mouse! congrats for that too!
great intro!
i hope you will get somthing out of this and find a job that you deserve with it!

Good Reel man! Well put together, some really nice work. Shame to hear about 'Big and Clever'... but what's this Quarterlight productions eh? Tell us more

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words!
Quarterlight Pictures was a name I came up with many years ago when I was at school for my film production activities. As I still had the .com URL I decided to use the name for my new venture.

HEY MAN AMAZING REEL LOVE EVERY BIT OF IT especially the beginning where you go ready goo can you create a tutorial on how you achieved that effect.

Hey, Thanks to everyone who took the time to look at my reel and comment - much appreciated!
I've been thinking of doing another tutorial for a while, and the LED text (for want of a better description) is a pretty good candidate. Would anyone else want to see this?
