I love the end of your work really, really love to watch your works!, that bouncing ball, it seems simple to people but I know it's usually the firs n most important attempt for every animator want to begin work, and We can learn much with practicing on it. I have done many works about bouncing ball ..... I will do more..... good luck -

One small crit from me is that it's a little too general. It starts off with some nice anim exercises but ends as an FX reel - personally I'd break it into two separate reels. -
21 Jan 2008Hey man, great work. I agree with Global, unless you're going to apply as a generalist somewhere, I'd break your reel up into two separate peices, that or change it into sections separated by title cards at least. Other than that, i'd say you've got a great in at most places.

mechis 520 posts21 Jan 2008cool reel. I thought the animation tests were done pretty well. The only thing I saw was the clip at around 29sec had a floaty landing, but the rest of it was great.

21 Jan 2008i think what made the landing seem floaty in at the 29sec mark was the camera angle. perhaps if you shifted it to a more 3/4 view instead of straight on.
also, although those early ones are great animation examples, they are a little too simple in my opinion. the character ones are great though, i just think the ball bounce and the tail whip are a bit too simplistic. -
