i think its time again to post some work, its long ago i think...
had the time and renderpower to play with maxwell lately, and the opportunity to skim some knowhow from a very well known artist in the maxwell universe...
so i thought to make my first maxwell scene...

22 Jan 2008Wow man, that looks beautiful! the bump on the back wall may be a bit extreme, but everything else looks top notch. Viva la Maxwell Render! Also, did you use the standalone or the maya plugin, or some other app?

thanks for your kind comments, really appreciated...and for the plug too of course, hehe
the pic was done with the plugin inside max and the wall is displaced (overdone it a bit), a new feature of maxwell since the last update to 1.6...

24 Jan 2008lovely render man! ya i also would like to know render time. u said it was done with maxwell plugin inside max. is it seperate renderer or it works like vray in max? sorry for noob question!

i used the plugin for scene creation insight max...but when it comes to rendering the scene was exported as mxs and than it was rendered on two quads over night in about 14 hours
