we had to do a video featuring all the work that we did during the year...

That's really great! It's exciting to see your progress lately...as you've come a long way from when you first joined the forum!
There were a couple weaker shots on the reel (the box folding up, mainly) but otherwise it's looking good. Oh...I'd also recommend placing that raining shot (with the house) near the front of the reel, since I think that's one of your stronger pieces. -
29 May 2008you should also probably point out that u made the raining house in AE(right?) and not in a 3d package

well thank you Tyson... and to be honest without this forum, i probably would't be there today... all the positive feedback i get from you all is really motivating, and it keeps me going...

yea i agree, but as said, it's a video featuring all the work from the year, so i did not think of it as a demo reel, so i will be removing things and sorting out others when i will be making my showreel. i aslo plan on doing differant reels along with the general showreel depending on the position i aply for...
the house clip was done in combustion, so it is similar to AE, i used photoshop for textures, and the rain effect... -
