I saw WALL-E this evening.. I guess you can say I was inspired. Such an amazing film.
There's some stuff I need to fix yet..The model is not quite accurate proportions, and I need to nail the material a little better.. but I'm done for tonight.

Nice! I like the lighting and the mood. One thing -- Did you notice in the movie how EVE has that little ring of lights that do a sweeping pulse around the inside edge of her collar, or whatever you'd call that indentation below her head, there... They looked kinda like this: ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
I agree, that movie was fantastic! I've seen it twice already, and I want to see it again. I absolutely love how they made those robots emote, especially EVE. I also love how her whole body pulses with light, when she powers on.
Such a jaw dropping movie. Must see again!

Yes, I agree. Amazing film.
I definitely plan on getting all her lights functional. It should be pretty fun. Next up on my list is rigging and animation.. but I think before that, I need to nail the translucency of her material. At first glance, she looks almost like shiny porcelain, but she actually has a translucent plastic feel.
