08 Jul 2005Argh! Why wasn't this free time used examining the finer points of Maya Mel script?... Or or um, reading the entire help section and gaining extensive knowledge of every detail of this horrible program? Hmm? Hmmmm?
hehe - very nicely done Tyson. Crits wise I'd say that the flame colour is just a little off, maybe too yellow which detracts from the realism of the shot. I like the way it transforms though and would like to see more
Now get back to MAYA!
Um this wasn't done in Maya was it??? Please tell me you don't know it that well already! -
08 Jul 2005agreed with global, the yellow looks a little pale and should maybe have some orange and red on the outer edges.

09 Jul 2005Considering you used the octane shader of Afterburn, you did a fantastic job.
I'm workin on my rocket anim at the moment, will post it when it's done or close to. You reckon you could add sound effects to my animation when it's done? I don't have access to any source files of that kind or any idea how to implement them.
Good take on the idea mate, gives me something to aim to beat -
