29 Aug 2008Its great mate, i love the lil dude running across at the end.
The models are awesome but the renders aren't really showing them off in their best light. except the hanging light, that was great.
Enjoyable reel and with a dash of humour, I love it. -

31 Aug 2008I was in 3d Animation and Visual FX. Good course, but us modelers were in a transition period where they were switching mentors so we didn't have anyone for a few weeks, but now it's all good, they have a great modeling teacher, animation etc, and the new lead of vfs looks like he's going to be great.

...the best model is the first one for sure! The captain looks great....I like the fetus as well...reminded me of one of the first 3d models I ever made (it's also my cgtalk avatar....essentially a fetus with some tubes coming out of it). Anyways, Best of luck! -

31 Aug 2008Tyson: Thanks, yeah I remember that model man, I think that probably influenced me, that and Alvaro's reel. I also actually made a lot of fetus' when I was starting out, especially drawing. I think they have great designs.
