Here is my new try in compositing 2D image background with 3D model. I am trying to achieve the best quality I can, so do not hesitate, give me some strong points. I do not mind negative critique at all.
It all started when I found some background image on the internet:
Little working on Photoshop, and I removed part of that post in the middle of the image, and I put some 3D horse (object from DeEspona library), and I've tryed with lightning and materials to achive like that statue is actualy in the picture:
And I animate horse dissapearing, and camera move. My goal was to set a scene, like somebody shot that video with home camera. I hope you will tell me where I get wrong, and what should I need to improve to look more realistic.

10 Dec 2008wow that is cool.....sorry i have been off the net for sometime. Just got back online. Your animation looks cool, I like the smoke or dust how did you do it? I think it needs something though.like.......a person walking and reacting to whats happening.

mahmoudnahmad 1,159 posts10 Dec 2008really nice, but i think if you had like a car or a guy going across the camera and checking out ur statue that would've given it a better edge in the composition blend with real shot. -
