01 Jan 2009Haha wow man it's amazing how much you've improved in the past months! Guess going to full sail has been a great feather in your cap!
Overall, really nice! Some comments:
-The facial expressions at "lets go honey" and after fit the audio nicely, the facial expressions before aren't really working for me. For a really emotional piece of dialog, he just looks sorta neutral. Not much going on with the brows and such. I'd suggest a) adding a few more subtle head motions. I find that when people talk aggressively their head/eyes tend to really dart around. b) work those eyelids. Bring the bottoms ones up, move the upper ones more aggressively. Add more blinks so he doesn't look as passive, etc.
-when he puts the gun on his shoulder, the motion of it falling down is a bit stiff.
Otherwise, nice! -

02 Jan 2009Thats cool ..agree with tyson.his eyes are the point to me...they should be more ..well......over animated..then the rest...........seems to be what I find myself looking at....
yeah T picks out all this stuff out...... like it's blowing ing the wind..haha.
good work mate looks great........

03 Jan 2009Sweet dude! In regards to the lip sync, there's a few major phonemes that aren't hitting 100%.
In the first section, before he says, "Let's go honey!", there are quite a few MBP's that aren't hitting. This is what I would say is the most crucial shape to hit so if nothing else you want to make sure the lips are touching on each M, B, or P sound. There's a couple that are hitting late, and a couple that don't touch at all.
Overall though it's really cool man, I love the secondary on the antennae too. -

20 Jan 2009the last part is much better but the first hast the same problem tyson mentioned.
that dude (nicolas cage i would assume
) is almost screaming when he talks there is a lot of emotion in it but in the animation he talks as if he would talk normally.
note that the animation is not bad but its not reflecting the the acting in the voice. -
