"B" Advertising showreel

this is a showreel I did lately for an advertising company called "B"
they provided me with their designs and my mission was animating them in a good way to be presented on some kind of fairs ... anyway I did all the animation in addition to the 3d "b" intro ... all the ideas are mine, except some little modifications by the client ....
the audio done by my work mate : Hany "matrix", but it done in a very short time ...
all of the work toke about 12-15 hours on 3 days ... I was having more ideas but the close dead line prevent me from doing more ...

14 Feb 2009Very nice! Very dynamic, especially considering how much reading had to be incorporated into it.
So tell us a bit about how you made it? 3D and 2D both, right? Did you use After Effects for the 2D stuff? I thought I noticed a bit of Eaze and Wizz in there, or was that all hand animated? -

the 3d part done in max, hand animated objects, I used bend modifier for the page turning effect, vray for rendering ... the glow line and other colored lines done on After Effects with some psot-production work too
for the 2d part the client provides me with his designs, I cut them to layers on photoshop, bring them in After Effects, animate them all by hand ...
so, yes ... it's all hand animated on both 3d and 2d.
