I used am using Max 5 and Vray for 3d and AE and PS for compositing and textures.
Hopefully more will be up by weeks end if I get my bloody crows working.

Kieran 57 posts22 Apr 2006Another quick update. I might add some more camera movement to this shot (and others) but this needs to be done in just over a week and I have loads of other schoolwork to do. This is the point in the short where time goes crazy and you start seeing multiple times at once.

I actually really liked the animation of the crow... and that last bit, with the time freezing and continuing was pretty bloody cool.

Kieran 57 posts12 May 2006Thanks msampson for the input, it just needs a matte choker to fix that problem. Thing is, I like the layered (2d-ish) look with the lower frame rate. It reminds me of the cartoons I watched when I was young.
Other people have suggested that too so I might just change that when I redo some of this project. It will higher res, with a bit more polish in some shots, and two extra shots with a small reeditto flesh things out.
The final ( well 1st final version made to meet my school deadline
) can be downloaded here.

Kieran 57 posts30 Mar 2007I'm back working at this project after a year of ignoring it. Here are a few animation tests I've been doing. Animation is definately one of my weak points so I have a long way to go, but here are a few tests. I'd appreciate any feedback.
