here's some stuff. it's old stuff, but just thought i'd throw it up to give everyone some stuff to look at while we're all busy on the new challenge.
here's a link to an animation i did last year. it was for a challenge at work. the challenge was to do an animation at least 1 minute long that used ONLY basic geometry for everything. and no deforming, bending, squashing, anything. That way, it's up to the movement of the objects to tell the story and create the characters. mine's about 4 mins long, and this download is under 10Mgs (and should play on an ipod video, if anyone wants to try). oh, and i used the music from "robots". there's problems with it, small inconsistencies, but we had a deadline and i was determined to make it.

and then here's a pic of a ring i modelled as a digital prop for a short movie i'm about to finish. i made it for some of the fx scenes in the movie, but just made this scene really quick to have a nice picture of it. the scene has nothing to do with the movie at all, and i didn't spend too much time on it. and the little spec hotspot was photoshoped.
