Hi again! I did this pic in a couple days. Its 3 of my characters (Ru the bird, Seco the red gal and Ter the fat one) running in their home the jungle/forest thing.
Im making a commercial with these guys (except Ru- not decided yet) that is about a soda called Jungle Twist Soda. It will be animated in aftereffects in a cut out style. In the next 3 weeks I will be making all the background for it, and this was just a test to see how I wanted them to look and such.
I did it all in photoshop - yay photoshop!
Hope you enjoy!

Hey Amanda! It looks wonderful!!
I like how you're style is coming together nicely.
Are your characters still gonna have the soft edge in the cut-out animation??

No they wont, they will have hard edges to their outlines
Thx Elisa!

as am i! sounds like you're gonna go for a flash-type look, yeah? i've often thought AE could easily do everything flash can, but have never tried it, so i really have no clue (well, jacques informaed me once that the drawing tools in flash on a Mac are amazing, so i do have that tidbit!).
i'm excited to see it animated! and i think it would look neat if you kept their fuzzy edges.
