20 May 2007just finished this its my best job so far
i mean it has details that you can stand for a while and look at it
hope you like it
the architecture is from 3ds max and textured over in photoshop, i m planing to animate it soon as well!!
The sky is 4 diferent skys and stars together, what do u think!!!?!

20 May 2007Fantastic! I love the music. Reminded me of the opening cinematic for Final Fantasy VII for some reason. Very Midgar-ish.

20 May 2007That's weird - my flat mate is playing FF7 right now - and yes, there is something similar to the music.
Lot's of nice detail in this one - Though I think the anim plays out a little too quick (or rather the movement is just a little too much) -

22 May 2007This looks cool so far man, I see a couple of things that cause issues for me though. First thing I noticed is that you have a light source coming from behind the structure in the middle of the painting, and you can still see the stars. I don't think this would really be possible, and you would lose a lot more detail in whatever is occluding the light. Also, I think the owl just doesn't look right to me. The scale seems too large for the environment that it's in. if you scaled it down about 75% I think it would look more correct. Other than that, I'd like to see a bit more detail in the foreground, and maybe something to establish some more scale. Right now it looks HUGE, and if that's what you are going for, then you nailed the scale, but if you added some stuff in I think in the foreground, like some plateau's and stuff, you might have some better composition. Other than those small suggestions, I think it's looking great.
