Our company has been making a 20 minute short film for the last few months which has been pretty intense work-wise, so I needed a break and just have some fun. These were a couple of objects built for another project that were never used. I hope you like it.
Rogue Mech (Youtube)
Rogue Mech (zipped Quicktime, 2mb)
Rogue Mech CS (Zipped Quicktime, 1.3mb)
All done in Lightwave and After Effects. The second file is the same, just cell shaded. Originally I wanted to try out a cartoon-style but went with the other one instead. This morning I decided to render it anyway out of curiosity.

thanks Kilroy. The bloom effects is all done in AE if honest. I used the glow on an adjustment layer and created a mask around the mech in white, placed it behind the main character layer and blurred it out slightly to give a fuzzy outline in the first shot. then trimmed it to match where the sun was coming from. I hope that made sense:)
